About Deen Rawlins-Harris

Deen Rawlins-Harris is a community producer, theatremaker, educator, scholar, and Bostonian with a passion for creating vibrant cultural events and empowering youth leaders. Deen holds a B.A. in Education and Political Science from Bucknell University and a graduate student in the M.F.A. in Drama for Youth and Communities at UT Austin.
With extensive experience in the creative drama field, Deen serves as the co-chair of AATE’s Research Network Committee, a board member at TC Squared Theatre Company, and a panelist for New England art educational grantmaking institutions. As a former Boston Public Schools teacher, Deen has a decade of teaching and performance art experience, working with K-12 schools worldwide. Deen's leadership and contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including The Point Foundation BIPOC Scholarship, Texas Educational Theatre Association Founders Scholar, and Planet Texas 2050 Artist Fellowship. In 2024, Deen was honored as the Winifred Ward Scholar for outstanding contributions to theatre education. Though their company, REVIVE ARTS, Deen leads the Youth Producer Program in Partnership with Fusebox Festival, empowering young leaders to curate a city-wide youth festival. Deen's work exemplifies a commitment to fostering creativity, education, and community engagement. |

REVIVE ARTS Consulting is an Austin-based education consulting and research firm specializing in arts education services for schools, corporations, and performing arts institutions. We aim to empower youth as creative leaders in their organizations. At REVIVE ARTS, we believe that when you provide young people with the tools, resources, and creative space to lead their own artistic experiences, they learn to imagine and manifest the liberated worlds they want to live in with one another.
