REVIVE ARTS Education Consulting is an Austin-based education consulting and research firm specializing in arts education services for schools, corporations, and performing arts institutions. We aim to empower youth as creative leaders in their organizations. At REVIVE ARTS, we believe that when you provide young people with the tools, resources, and creative space to lead their own artistic experiences, they can imagine and build a liberated world together. An immersive, youth-led artistic experience not only improves the quality of a young person's education but also equips them with the skills to seek out joyful and artistically rich life-long learning opportunities.

Why REVIVE?

When working with a group of youth leaders in Austin, TX, the teens brainstormed several titles for their community-wide arts and cultural festival event. They wanted the name of their festival to be a call to action for their community to create more spaces for young people to gather, celebrate, connect, and lead. The team recognized they were part of a long history of youth leadership and innovation in Austin. They decided that REVIVE YOUTH FESTIVAL accomplished their goal of acknowledging their city's vibrant past while putting forth a call to action for an artistically rich and youth-led future.

In acknowledgment of their efforts and request, REVIVE ARTS Education Consulting places their voice and heartfelt directive at the forefront of our work. We are committed to reviving youth-led and youthful artistic endeavors as we pave the way for a liberated world where all people, especially youth, have creative spaces to express themselves as they see fit.

REVIVE YOUTH FESTIVAL in partnership with Fusebox Austin

REVIVE Youth Producer Program in partnership with Fusebox Austin

The Youth Producer Program (YPP) is a paid youth employment and workforce development program that immerses Austin teens in live-event and festival production careers through creative workshops, masterclasses, and experience proposing and producing their own youth festival.

YPP utilizes applied theatre strategies and workshops to teach youth tangible organizing skills like how to:

write mission and vision statements,
create realistic and comprehensive event budgets,
conduct market research,
build relationships with community partners,
program, plan , and implement event schedule and timelines,
and collaboratively present their work to stakeholders.

In April 2024, YPP participants produced the Revive Youth Festival as part of the Fusebox Festival. The event featured youth performances and crafts by youth artists and vendors from Austin, TX.

The Revive Youth Festival is a one-day art and culture festival that is entirely imagined and programmed by the YPP participants. The REVIVE YOUTH FESTIVAL 2025 will host main events and activities like:

a theatre and dance performance showcasing the work of local youth community art organizations,
a dance party featuring local youth DJ,
a youth band showcase competition for local youth bands in Austin,
comedy and youth drag performance,
and local dance group performances.
