I am currently co-developing Traces/Remain with my collaborator Letta Neely. Traces/Remain is a public storytelling project that brings "contagious healing" and "memories as medicine" to communities across Boston. We are collecting stories from community members and gathering them in a wooden book. The project host in-person and virtual dance sessions that occupy public spaces, ask neighbors to plants seeds and flowers at parks throughout the city, and fosters a culture of storytelling through dance and connection. A video of one session at the inPUBLIC Festival 2019 can be viewed below in addition to photos taken by Lauren Miller from sower sessions throughout the city.

Traces/Remain Virtual Experience
Smoked Oysters
In January of 2020, I directed Smoked Oysters by Mary McCullough for TC Squared Theatre Company in Boston. Please click here to see a review of the show on Broadway World. I worked closely with Greater Egleston High School to turn their assembly hall into a theatre. We successfully produced this show about a Black family in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Boston. |
